This is type of grasshopper is really one of a kind, unlike
other grasshopper. This specific grasshopper is the toxic milkweed grasshopper.
The colors of this type of grasshopper is red, black and a little bit of
orange-yellow on its tail. The strong colors are a warning sign, because it is
very poisonous.
They feed on toxic milkweed and store the toxic compounds in
their body. When this grasshopper feels threatened, it will spew a toxic liquid
near its hind legs.
So please if you see this type of creature anywhere...Please don't take chances and eat it. This can kill you (Silence I kill you....lol) :)
